Entries due for Pagosa Springs Photography Club exhibit

By Jeff Laydon
Special to The PREVIEW

This is an urgent call for entries for the Pagosa Springs Photography Club Juried Print Exhibition.  Due to a change in venue, the dates have also changed.  This will be the 10th annual exhibit held by the club.

Club membership is required to enter and submissions are to be delivered to Pagosa Photography Studio and Gallery on Oct. 17 and 18.   The cost for each entry is $5.  The maximum size, framed width is 26 inches.  There are no categories or content guidelines.  Images will be judged solely on displayed merits.

The selected photographs and first, second and third place winners will be presented at the opening reception on Thursday Nov. 21, at 5 p.m.  Placed winners will receive cash prizes with $100 going to the first place winner, $75 to second place and $50 to third.  Pagosa Photography Studio and Gallery will host the exhibit until Dec. 26.

Meetings for The Pagosa Springs Photography Club are held the second Wednesday of each month at SHY RABBIT at 6 p.m. Annual membership is $20 for an individual, $25 for a family and $10 for students.  The club offers an opportunity to learn, share and experience the wonders of photography.
