Special to The PREVIEW
Registration is open for the 2014-2015 school year at Our Savior Lutheran Preschool.
We have been serving the children of Pagosa Springs from all denominations for 21 years, providing exceptional education opportunities — with small classroom sizes — in a safe and loving, Christ-centered environment.
Our Savior Lutheran School and Preschool are known for providing a quality Christian educational facility with well-trained and experienced staff, ample opportunities for educational and social stimulation, and effective communication between parents and teachers concerning general aims and routine functioning of the program.
This year, Our Savior Lutheran School is offering preschool, kindergarten and first-grade classes.
Ann Bryant teaches in our Caterpillar Room (3-year-olds) and has been with Our Savior Lutheran Preschool for eight years. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, elementary certification and has taken numerous classes for early childhood development.
Toni Haines teaches in our Bumblebee Room (3- and 4-year-olds) and has taught for 20 years in elementary schools. She and her husband have been here in Pagosa Springs for four years.
Anette McInnis teaches in our Butterfly Room (Pre-k) and is our preschool director. She has been with our school for 17 years, has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in business and is large-center-director qualified under Colorado state licensing.
Melissa Snarr teaches our kindergarten/first grade combination class. She has 15 years of experience teaching in Lutheran schools, is large-center-director qualified under Colorado state licensing and has a certificate of training in “Love and Logic,” and science safari and math concepts.
Our Savior Lutheran School is located at 56 Meadows Drive. For more information on enrollment, please call us at 731-3512 or visit our website at www.oslcpagosa.org/school.html, where you can download the school handbook and application. Additionally, if you would like to meet our teachers and join us for a family fun event on Aug. 9, we will be having our “Mary Jo Scholarship Memorial Fund Fundraiser” at the school (look for more details in articles to come).
