College students, graduate students, graduates and working professionals may apply for a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship (value up to $23,500), Rotary Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarship (value up to $15,000) or a Rotary World Peace Scholarship (for work towards a master’s degree, value up to $60,000).

Completed applications must be received by the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club, c/o Terri House, P.O. Box 1083, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 by April 8, and interviews will take place in Pagosa Springs on Friday, April 11.
Applicants who are selected by the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club will then be interviewed by the Rotary District 5470 Scholarship Committee the weekend of May 17-18.
The scholarships, which are designed to further international understanding and goodwill, provide for study abroad in more than 160 countries where Rotary clubs are located. Approximately 1,000 scholarships (valued at over $20 million) of various types are made available each year.
During their studies abroad, Ambassadorial Scholars act as “ambassadors of goodwill.” Through appearances before Rotary clubs and districts, schools, civic organizations and other forums, the scholars represent their homelands and work to further international understanding. Ambassadorial Scholarships are for a full year of study at a recognized college or university in any foreign country where Rotary clubs are located and include tuition, books, fees, room and board and roundtrip air fare. Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarships cover three months of intensive foreign language study and include tuition and fees, room and board with a host family and roundtrip airfare.
