Dear Editor:

Getting involved and making that step to be a part of the community on a greater level isn’t easy. It takes time, time away from your family, commitment to the process and a love for the place you live. I had that experience and I know that it takes energy and dedication to get things accomplished. My friend Brooks Lindner has all of the qualities needed to make an excellent school board member. He is respected in the community he cares about, he exudes positive energy, he has the intelligence to problem solve and the willingness to listen and reflect. My son will be entering the Pagosa Springs school system in a few years and I want it to continue to evolve. I feel Brooks will bring his creative spirit to create even more opportunities for our children. My vote goes to Brooks Lindner; please consider him for your vote, too.
