Archuleta County is one step closer to replacing another of its failing bridges — this time the Rio Blanco bridge located on County Road 337A, located approximately 8.4 miles southeast of Pagosa Springs and 200 feet southwest of U.S. 84.
On Tuesday, the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners voted to award the contract to replace the bridge to Skanska USA Civil West Rocky Mountain Division, which also completed the reconstruction of Piedra Road.
