Constituent seeks clarity on the issue of water loss

The Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District (PAWSD) Board of Directors met on Tuesday, Feb. 11, for their regularly scheduled session. Four of the five board members were in attendance, with the fifth member, Mike Church, participating via phone. Also in attendance was constituent John Ramberg, who presented an alternative way of reporting water loss. to the board

Ramberg brought before the board a proposal for PAWSD to adopt American Water Works Association (AWWA) reporting standards. Ramberg expressed the need to discard the term “un-accounted for” when referring to water loss.
