To prepare for the annual spring concert, the Pagosa Springs Community Choir begins singing next week. The first rehearsal is scheduled for Feb. 12 in the high school band room.

The choir is again planning a concert filled with fun, inspirational and patriotic music including “Steady My Trembulin’ Soul,” “House of David” and a patriotic medley titled “Armed Forces Pride of America.”

The jazz ensemble will sing “Bring Me Sunshine” and “Dream.”

Dan Burch is directing the choir again, and the accompanist is Venita Burch.

We look forward to all of our previous singers returning, but also hope to have new members join. If you enjoy singing and would like to join this very talented group, we look forward to meeting you.

The first rehearsal on Tuesday, Feb. 12, begins at 6:30 p.m. for registration. Each member is requested to pay $20 for the cost of music and binders. Subsequent rehearsals are held each Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Concert dates are May 17, 18 and 19.
