Clinic for prospective rodeo royalty candidates

The second annual Rodeo Royalty Clinic, organized by the Western Slope Rodeo, will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Glenwood Springs Branch Library from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

The royalty clinic will cover topics of etiquette, interview skills, speech and public speaking, appearance, rodeo knowledge, horsemanship and safety. Rhianna Russell, Miss Rodeo Colorado Lady-In-Waiting, is one of the featured presenters.

Participants must be at least 10 years old and do not have to currently hold a royalty title. The cost is $40 each and a luncheon is included. Parents and coordinators are encouraged to participate and the fee is $25 each.
