The Rollergirls in Pagosa (RIP) would like to sincerely thank The View Restaurant for hosting our fundraising event. The food was great and the event a success. The Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District family wishes to extend a personal thank you to the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Department, Emergency Management staff, Pagosa Fire, first responders, EMS, Medevac flight crews, crisis counselors, law enforcement officers, search and rescue teams, divers and all involved in the recovery of one of our dearest friends and fellow employee involved in the tragedy that occurred on the morning of May 1.
We cannot express enough our overwhelming appreciation for the professionalism, dedication to duty and concern for the family and our staff you showed during this unfortunate event. You responded without fail in our most vulnerable moments and your performance was beyond reproach. Under cold and difficult conditions, you put the mission before self, until the job was complete.
We relied on all your teams, training and experience, and we cannot thank you all enough for their dedication and commitment in keeping our communities and citizens safe.
The entire PAWSD family wishes to pay respect to JoJo’s family and friends impacted by this unimaginable tragedy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
