Cards of Thanks

Special Olympics

Special Olympics of Pagosa would like to extend a sincere thank you to Wolf Creek Ski Area and Pagosa Ski and Snowboard Rentals for their continued support of our winter programs. Our Special Olympians are able to experience and enjoy snowshoeing and skiing only with the considerable generosity of these businesses. Thank you.

Santa Fe Opera Spring Tour: Thanks to The Springs Resort, first and foremost, for their generous hosting of the six visiting musicians, to piano technician Robert Shoffner for his preparation of the pianos and to all the others who helped bring the tour to Pagosa Springs. On behalf of the community and the high school, a big round of applause and thanks to all.

A big thank you to Our Savior Lutheran Preschool and Anette McInnis for organizing the Kid’s Fair. Thanks, too, to Kiwanis for serving a free hot dog lunch. Much appreciation to Kate Lister for letting us have the Kid’s Fair at the elementary school. Doll day was a success thanks to Head Start, Mardel Gallegos and Rose Salas.

Wiggle Wednesday was a big hit. A special thanks to San Juan Basin Health for hosting a free immunization clinic on Wednesday.

Night of the Young Child was a big hit this year and a special thank you goes to Restoration Fellowship and John Lapp for allowing us the time and space to host the event. Amber Kirkham was one of the best emcees yet. And last but not least, a big thank you to Bogey Q’s for hosting an afternoon of putt putt golf after school.
