I would like to thank Lucy Gonzales, Connie Chavez, Betty Read and all my friends that helped Lucy with the benefit dinner for travel expenses for my emergency surgery to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Ariz.

Grateful hearts. After three months up in Denver at St. Anthony Hospital’s Trauma Center and Craig Hospital for Rehab, Keagan, Cheyenne and Kai Smith are headed home.
The entire Smith family, and especially Keagan, would like to express their extreme gratitude to every member of “Team Keagan.” Thank you most sincerely for all the encouragement, prayers, cards, gifts, donations and support received since the car accident on Oct. 30, 2013. Everyone is invited to a “Night of Gratitude” on Feb. 16 at Centerpoint Church from 7-8 p.m. There will be a slideshow recapping Keagan’s recovery, as well as a time of sharing with a dessert reception following so Keagan and family can have a chance to thank everyone in person.
The Inaugural Pagosa Pond Hockey Classic was a great success.
Many thanks go out to all the players and volunteers who helped make this event happen on such short notice, as well as those who donated prizes for our players.
The town of Pagosa Springs, especially Jim Miller and his ice crew, Riff Raff Brewing Company, Ponderosa Lumber, Old West Liquor, Ski and Bow Rack, The Springs Resort, Wolf Creek Ski Area, The Hockey Shop at Mild to Wild, Bob & France Kudelski at the High Country Lodge, Kristal Fortune and the Friends of the Multi Purpose Pavilion, Chapman Hill Ice Rink, Ken Morrison at Pagosa Insurance, The Roller Girls in Pagosa, The Overlook Hot Springs, A Body of Art Tattoo, Eric Spors, Jeff and Tanya Quinn, and especially my wife Sara Collabolletta, for having to listen to me talk about, and/or watch hockey, just about every day.
