Cards of Thanks

Fix it Free Day

There was a great turnout for Computer Fix it Free Day. Nine local technicians repaired over 25 computers for individuals who might otherwise be unable to afford to get their computers running.

Thanks to Raymond Rent-A-Nerd for providing advertising and coordinating the entire event.

Thank you to Linda Stuckwish and Heidi Martinez with The Training Advantage for handling eligibility and scheduling.

Thanks to Mike Stoll with the Humane Society for donating computer parts, donuts, juice and hot coffee.

Thank you to Betty and Dale Schwicker, Jim Bodoh and others who donated computers and parts that were less than 5 years old. We really appreciate all the people and organizations that helped get the word out.

Thanks to Rolly Jackson with Papa Murphy’s Pizza who donated pizzas and sodas to feed our hungry technicians.

Thank you to the community center for donating the conference room — special thanks to Cheryl Bowdridge for her patience and assistance.

And a very special thank you to the technicians who selflessly gave their time, talents, and expertise: Jim Bodoh, Allan Bunch, Gabe Cersonski, Jarrett Chaney, Eric Hittle, Jasmine Lee, Kurt Raymond, Frank Simbeck and Bob Walan.

Thanks to all those who make this event possible.
