Cards of Thanks

I want to thank Master Trooper Wiersma for the setting up and demonstrations he gave to the public about the danger of no seat belts. His rollover machine and the mannequins he used really opened the eyes of the people watching. I heard children tell their parents while walking away, “I am going to always use my seat belt.” I think any organization that plans a large or small event may want to contact the CSP and ask for a demo for your participants. I want to thank the Chamber for including this in the car show.

I would personally like to give a huge thank you to each and every one, especially the organizers, Mel Rosser, Kathleen Boca, Karma Raley, Mark DeVoti, Rachel Martin, who made this all possible.

Special thanks to Jim of the Buffalo Inn for hosting this great event.

Thanks to all the bands that donated their wonderful talent to make this a great time for everyone.

Thanks to all the businesses and individuals that donated gifts and prizes.

I would also like to thank all of the folks for the gifts, cards, money, meals and support and love and for being there and being a part of my life.

I was overwhelmed by the generosity and love of all of you.

You will never know how much this has meant to me. I will never forget you.

There are some really nice people in the world. Let me tell you about one. My husband left his wallet on top of the car and drove away after gassing up. Things went flying around 160 at the Sears turnoff. Our hero (last name Deadman) stopped, gathered everything up, called us and returned it all. Amazing, inspiring — makes you appreciate small town living and Mr. Deadman. Thank you.

Pregnancy Center

The board and staff of the Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center wish to extend a hearty thank you to the Knights of Columbus for the wonderful Mother’s Day breakfast that was held to benefit the Center. The food was excellent, the service terrific and the fellowship encouraging to all who attended. Thank you, Knights, for your commitment to life and for your generous support of the Pregnancy Center.
