Cards of Thanks

We would like to thank everyone for their cards, hugs, presence, flowers and food during and after Carlie’s passing. We were amazed at all the support this little community can give, and are so grateful we live here in this wonderful town. Also, we would like to thank everyone who made a donation in Carlie’s name. I wish I could list everyone who has given selflessly of their time, support, kind words, money, etc., but I think the list would take up a whole page of the paper. Thank you, Pagosa.

Dr. Bob, Jen, Amanda, Will and Karina

After almost giving up hope of finding our stolen kayaks and gear, I received a phone call from Bear Creek owner Mark Stauth. Mark left me a voicemail, in which he explained two of his employees had found all our gear. I was just as shocked as the day the property was stolen.

Thank you to Ryan and Charlie. We are forever grateful that you took the time to look at what was stolen and were able to indentify it. Thank you to Mark for making his staff keenly aware of our loss and motivating them to help.

Thank you to the entire community of Pagosa Springs, for putting up flyers, informing people via word of mouth and keeping your eyes peeled. If it was not for the support of everyone, our gear might have been forever lost.

We are extremely blessed to be a part of such a caring community and hope to be able to return the favor some day. The return of our gear has made our year. Happy spring and happy boating.
