Pope John Paul II Catholic Church is hosting their third Super Bowl Party featuring the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Many activities are planned, including three football pools.

The game will be viewed via satellite on a large flat screen TV. There is ample room for up to 100 people.

Ticket donation is $5 and there will also be many menu items from which to choose: “Bronco” pork ribs, hamburgers, chili, hot dogs, chili dogs, “Seahawk” (chicken) wings, nachos, popcorn, sodas and desserts. Even if “your team” didn’t make it, rooting for your Super Bowl favorite can be exciting.

Live entertainment at halftime with Mary Hughes providing the music.

Festivities begin at 3 p.m. with Life Teen Mass (one hour early), and the Super Bowl party begins at 4 p.m., with kick-off at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the Parish Office at 353 S. Pagosa Blvd. from Life Teen members and also at Homespun Comforts, the Chamber of Commerce, The Buck Stops Here and Silver Dollar Liquor.
