British, Brazilian soccer camps return to Pagosa

Pagosa Sting Soccer Club is bringing two of the nation’s top soccer training programs to town again this summer — serving all local youth soccer competitors, ages 3 through high school

The British Soccer Camp program returns this summer. Challenger British Soccer Camps will coach 125,000 players around the U.S. this summer, and their unique program will be in the area July 29-Aug. 2, thanks to the efforts of Pagosa Sting Soccer Club.

Camp location is the Pagosa Springs High School fields, with the following schedule and costs:

Age 3, 11 a.m.-noon, $84.

Ages 4 and 5, 9-10:30 a.m., $100.

Ages: 6-12, 9 a.m.-noon, $126.

Ages: 6-12 (a special “add on” session that runs Monday-Thursday and is only open to kids who register for the 9 a.m.-noon session) 1-3 p.m., $55.

The Pagosa Sting Soccer Club is also bringing the nation’s No. 1 all-Brazilian Soccer Camp program to town for older players. Tetra Brazil Soccer Camps are a nationwide organization which will coach 9,000 players around the U.S. this summer.

Dates: July 29-Aug. 2.

Location: Pagosa Springs High School fields.

Ages, times and costs:

12-18, 9 a.m.-noon, $150.

12-18, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., $199.

12-18, 5-8 p.m., $150.
