Special to The PREVIEW
ColorFest is just around the corner and only a few tickets remain for this premier event.
Celebrate ColorFest in style at the second annual Breakfast with Balloons on Sept. 16 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership (GGP) amphitheater in Centennial Park.
View the graceful ascension of hot air balloons over the San Juan River while enjoying a gourmet breakfast, a mimosa trimmed with mint and fresh fruit, and the live sounds of Bob Hemenger, one of our favorite local musicians. ColorFest doesn’t get any better than this.
Tickets are $40 ($20 for youth age 12 and under) and can be purchased at Exit Realty, the Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce and on the GGP website at pagosagreen.org. This event sold out last year, so purchase your tickets today and don’t miss this one-of-a-kind Pagosa event.
The GGP is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching youth and adults how to grow food year-round using renewable energy. Hundreds of local residents, tourists and students have visited the Education Dome and taken classes. The dome will be open during Breakfast with Balloons for your enjoyment and amazement.
