Bowl for Kids’ Sake on March 23

The 29th Annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake Campaign is in full swing!

Teams are forming now to participate in this playful fund-raiser.

To be part of this really fun event, put together a bowling team of four people. Register online at

Then, each member is encouraged to go out and collect at least $70 per team member, for a total of at least $280 per team. That is just asking seven friends for $10 each. It is really doable! Each team member who brings in at least $70 will receive a bowler’s prize. And if you bring in at least $100, you are eligible for one of our prize package drawings that are worth at least $200 each. You can win twice as much as you donate; how great is that?

You will be able to choose the time you would like to bowl on Saturday, March 23, and then bowl for one hour at Sky Ute Casino’s Rolling Thunder Lanes in Ignacio. What a fun way to help a very worthwhile organization.

It costs BBBS about $1,200 a year to create, support and maintain a match between a child and a volunteer. There is no question that the care of one adult mentor can indeed change the life of a child. Big Brothers Big Sisters depends on the generosity of members of the community and charitable foundations in order to offer this important service to these children. In this strained economic time, these donations are more important than ever.

Please consider putting together a bowling team or donating to an existing team to help the children of Pagosa. All of the money raised in Pagosa for Bowl For Kids’ Sake stays in the community to help the children here.

So, put on your bowling shirt and change your shoes to help change the life of a child!

Form a bowling team today. For more information, please call 247-3720 or go on line to to sign up your team today.
