| I had my camera sitting on my desk and I’d just finished processing a portrait of a local figure for a story when little Ryder Banzai King made an appearance in the office. He was sitting on our front counter and was lit by the light coming from the windows and our front door.
If you catch it right in the morning, the light comes into the entryway, diffuses, and bounces in through the door creating a nice softbox effect. It’s not bright enough to use a combination of the shutter speed and low ISO that I normally shoot portraits at. I gave a little on both and held steady enough to catch Ryder as he bounced around.
