Proceeds go to help the children of Archuleta County.

All of the money raised for BBBS in Pagosa, stays in Pagosa to help the kids in the program. In 2011, in Archuleta County, BBBS served 20 children and 100 percent of local matches lasted for more than six months and 95 percent stayed together for at least 12 months. The longer the match is together, the stronger the positive impact is for the child. Seventy-three percent of parents report an improvement in their child’s self confidence, 68 percent report that their child’s academic performance has improved, with 57 percent reporting that their child’s attitude towards school improved.

Mentoring works.

Help BBBS continue to have a positive effect on the children in Pagosa. Join in for a fun evening at Nello’s on Dec. 4 and enjoy the lively tunes of Blue Grass Cadillac.
