upsetting that reports like this can be printed without clear facts on the
matter. This isn’t a debate if what Brandon did was right or wrong it’s about
how this article is posted and can skew fact into something that is not true.
Brandon Vaughn did not commit a burglary in downtown Pagosa. Springs. He went to his residence that he was living at with his girlfriend and is on the lease at the said residence. He made a very unwise choice when he left Hilltop in Durango and went to Pagosa when he was told his
longtime girlfriend of over 8 years and the mother of his two children has a boyfriend. Brandon was very upset to learn this information and went to the residence to talk to his girlfriend. Not only did Brandon find out his girlfriend
had a boyfriend but that the guy is now living in his house with his girlfriend and kids. Brandon being extremely upset about this situation took a possession (a hand gun) that was given to him as a gift from the girlfriend’s father saying that he was going to kill himself and has not been seen or heard from since. Brandon may be armed but is more of a danger to himself. His family is sickened by this situation and are afraid for their son’s life and this article does not help his situation at all by the way it is being reported.

It’s always amazing how the public knows all the facts and law enforcement is all wrong. Amazing. I hope law enforcement finds this guy before he hurts someone. A wanted person with a weapon on the run. Great.

I’m sorry, I don’t see your point here. Armed dangerous previously violent emotionally unstable escapee? That’s what we need to know. Is the general public supposed to be this guy’s therapist or legal defense? Maybe the SWAT team can disarm his inner child with Nurturing Love and Acceptance.

“Concerned” has added the real tabloid news. I think the “facts” were there, but this is hilarious! He was upset because his “baby mama” has a boyfriend so he leaves the halfway house? I hope his case manager at Hilltop is reading this :)
