Art sale fundraiser for local missionaries returning from Poland

By Lisa and Jon Duncan
Special to The PREVIEW

Centerpoint Church will host an art sale July 3 and 4 for Brad and Michelle Graves — son of Gordon and Cathy Graves, of Pagosa Springs. All proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase a vehicle for Brad and Michelle and family, as they make plans to move to the Northwest to continue their mission work in the coffee house movement.

Centerpoint will feature a collection of works by internationally renowned Texas artist Dalhart Windberg. The event will also include artwork by local artists, pottery and photography, as well as homemade cookies and candy.

Windberg is famous for his masterful use of light, color and shadow in still life and landscape painting, as well as his colorful nature scenes taken from his travels through Texas, the Rocky Mountains, Italy and Greece.

The sale will be held in the Centerpoint parking lot, 2750 Cornerstone Drive, on July 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; please plan to stop by and help us raise funds for our missionaries.

If you have art or craft donations that you would like to give for the sale, please drop them off at Centerpoint by June 19; office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you would like to contribute to the fundraiser but will not be in town, you may send in — or drop off — your contribution, marked for the Graves car fund. All donations will go to the Graves in their entirety, and will enable them to continue on in their mission work.

Thank you for supporting this wonderful couple. You can contact the church office at 731-2205 or admin@centerpointpagosa.com for further information.
