The second annual Fall Fashion Show, “Fashion’s Night Out,” will be held at the Ross Aragon Community Center on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event will feature plenty of good food and desserts catered by Pagosa Baking Company, cash bar, prizes, and a fabulous fashion show featuring the latest in women’s fall styles.
There will be plenty of time to mix and mingle before all the action starts, so spread the word and bring your friends. Tickets are only $35 for an evening of fun and proceeds will directly benefit the food pantries at Community Methodist Church, John Paul II Catholic Church and St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church.
This wonderful event is sponsored by Happy Trails Ladies’ Boutique in conjunction with Women Helping Others.
According to Maria Macnamee, owner of Happy Trails, “I just knew that there was a need for all kinds of assistance in our community. The fashion show was a huge success last year because not only do the ladies of Pagosa Springs love a good night out on the town with their girlfriends, but love the idea of those in need benefiting from the evening. Last year’s proceeds were divided between the Pagosa Youth Center and Head Start, receiving $3,500 each. Like I said, ladies LOVE a night out with friends! Not only do they buy their tickets, but they are extremely generous at the event as well. Our committee couldn’t wait to do it again this year and help three other deserving charities.”
Hunger is a serious problem in our county and the local food pantries step up to the plate each and every week to help those in need. They make a difference in people’s lives that would otherwise go hungry. Happy Trails and Women Helping Others are proud to have these two wonderful programs be the designated recipients of this year’s fashion show proceeds.
So, ladies of Pagosa and Archuleta County, mark your calendars to attend a wonderful evening of fashion, food, drinks and prizes on Thursday, Nov. 1, and in doing so know that you will be helping support the efforts of these two wonderful organizations that feed the hungry.
Tickets are available at Happy Trails Ladies’ Boutique, the Ross Aragon Community Center, Community United Methodist Church office, John Paul II Catholic Church office and St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church.
