Don’t forget, a reminder to all Pagosans: There will be an open house on Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the side room at Boss Hogg’s Restaurant from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. to present to the public plans, including pictures, for a multi-purpose ice/roller skate pavilion.

The proposed facility will operate under 501(c)(3) non-profit status, under the umbrella of the Community Foundation of Southwest Colorado. Proceeds from this facility will be donated to a Sports Scholarship Fund for our Pagosa Springs youth.

Nestled in the ponderosa pines in Harman Park, the regulation-size hockey/roller rink will include year-round activities, including arts, entertainment and private functions — something for all Pagosans, ages 3 to 103.
