Pagosa meet-and-greet for CU Regent candidates

Jessica Garrow and Stephen Ludwig are running for CU Regent. They will be in Pagosa Springs on Sept. 5, and will meet with voters at the BackRoom Wine Bar from 5:30-7 p.m. Leanne Goebel is hosting this event.

Jessica Garrow is running for the CD3 Regent slot. She is 30 years old and lives in Carbondale with her husband, Ted Parenti. She is a third- generation Coloradan who graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2004 with a degree in political science and a minor in philosophy. She received her master’s degree in city and regional planning in 2006 from Ohio State University.

Ludwig is running for re-election to the at-large statewide regent position he currently holds. He currently serves as chair of the strategic planning committee and as the regents’ representative to the Auraria Higher Education Center board. Ludwig is the corporate marketing and communications manager for CH2M HILL and, in addition, runs his own public relations agency.
