The Rev. Douglas E. Neel, rector of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Pagosa Springs and co-author of the new book “The Food and Feasts of Jesus: Inside the World of First Century Fare,” will hold a lecture and book-signing event at St. Patrick’s on Thursday, July 26, at 6 p.m.
The evening will begin with a 30-minute lecture and discussion of the historical contents of the book, followed by a reception in the parish hall that includes first-century foods made from recipes in the book. Books will be made available for sale and author autograph.
The event is open to the public.
