Members of Mountain View Homemakers Club are inviting all area adults to have lunch, get amazing bargains and support eight of our local non-profit organizations while having fun with neighbors and friends.
The club’s auction will take place at noon on Thursday, July 12, at the Extension Building at the fairgrounds and is expected to last just a couple of hours.
There will be three kinds of auction: a huge silent auction, a brief live auction, and, new this year, a bag auction.
This year, the members voted to divide the proceeds among the following groups (in alphabetical order): Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program, Mary Fisher Medical Foundation, the Hospice Team/Mercy Health Foundation, the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs, Pagosa Outreach Connection, Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center, Pagosa Springs Youth Center, and Senior Services-Home Delivered Meals.
Homemakers hopes everyone who is able will come out to have fun while supporting these worthy causes and getting a bargain — all at the same time.
