The Pagosa Springs Nurturing Center wants to thank June Marquez, her band and family members, the Pagosa Springs Community Center, Two Chicks and a Hippie Cafe and also our youth volunteers for such a lively and joyful event that brought some funds and attention for our center and its mission. June and her family are a nurturing asset to our community, always loving, always giving.
We would like to give thanks to all the people who volunteered to help with the annual “Claws for a Cause” (Angel Eyes, formerly Colorado SIDS) fund-raiser dinner at Pagosa Brewing Company. We’d like to thank Jim and Wendy Hill for driving the lobsters, tails and steaks from Denver to Pagosa Springs the morning of June 16. We greatly appreciate all the volunteers, Marsha, brewery staff, and cooks (Steve, Hal and Sean) who made this such a successful event. Special thanks go out to Tony and Julie Simmons for letting us hold this special event in their beer garden at the Brewing Co. To all the members of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, thank you for all your support and friendship.
