A pancake breakfast fund-raiser to benefit the senior meal programs of the Silver Foxes Den will be held at Cafe Fox.
Start your day off right by enjoying pancakes slathered in warm syrup, served with bacon, scrambled eggs, cantaloupe, cinnamon toast, orange juice, coffee or tea.
Cafe Fox (North end of the Ross Aragon Community Center) is located at 451 Hot Springs Blvd.
The fund-raiser will be held Thursday, June 28, 7:30 to 11 a.m.
The fund-raiser is by donation; bring the whole family or staff and a hearty appetite!

We are currently accepting applications to assist in our kitchen, library and dining room.
Like to help in the kitchen? Is chopping, slicing, dicing, prepping and stirring your middle name? If so, then we need you and several of you at that. We’re too busy with the staff we have. Help!
We are also in need of someone who would like to volunteer in our small library about a half hour every week or two to assist our lead library volunteer. We need help re-shelving books, checking them back in and with general tidying up.
Like to greet people and lend a hand? We have the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a few people that would like to greet our folks, introduce new clients to our services, show them the ropes of the dining room and offer assistance to those needing help filling out our new client form. Are you struggling to get meals prepared because you are homebound, recovering from surgery or an illness? Let us do the cooking. Enjoy Senior Center meals delivered to your door. Our hot meal, home delivery program is available four days per week to those living closer to town, with frozen meals Thursdays and weekends. Those living farther out of town may be eligible for the frozen meal program. Meals are available to people age 60-plus for a suggested donation of $3 per meal. Suggested donation for older adults age 60-plus is $3, guests $6, kids 12 and under $3. Our meal program is partially funded through the Older Americans Act via the San Juan Basin Area Agency on Aging, United Way, Archuleta County, Town of Pagosa Springs and other donations and grants. These funds help support the cost of the meal, which is approximately $11.51. Please note our menu is subject to change. The salad bar opens at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served from noon to 12:30 p.m.
