Enter your recipes in community center’s ‘America’s Best’ contest

A week of Fourth of July celebrations and activities in Pagosa is coming soon.

We invite you to start them off at the Ross Aragon Community Center on June 29, as we celebrate America’s independence, diversity and our soldiers at a social from 6-7 p.m.

At 7 p.m., get ready to kick up your heels to live music by The Wild Country Band. They will entertain you with a variety of tunes while you enjoy refreshments, as well as a cash bar.

Enter your favorite recipe for baked beans or potato salad in our “America’s Best” contest. Call or come by the center to enter. There will be prizes awarded to the top two entries in each category.

You will have an opportunity to sample the entries with the purchase of a hamburger or hot dog plate. Free dessert and lemonade will be provided for all.

This event is free to the community and all ages are welcome to attend.

Call the center for information, 264-4152.
