An Internet-based hunter education course will be held at Pagosa Springs Town Hall, 551 Hot Springs Blvd.
Introduction will be on Monday, June 18, from 6-8 p.m., self study on June 19 through June 22, with conclusion on Saturday, June 23, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Students must attend introduction and conclusion classes. Cost is $24.95 for HunterExam.Com certificate.
This class format utilizes an excellent online, interaction program, HunterExam.Com. By completing the Internet self-study sections, students will only be required to participate in six hours of classroom plus range time for “hands on” activities and to cover important information not fully addressed online.
If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1949, you are required to have a hunter safety card before purchasing a hunting license.
