SECOND READING

The second reading of Ordinance No. 771 (Series 2012) was completed at the Pagosa Springs Town Council Meeting held on June 5, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall. ORDINANCE NO. 771 (SERIES 2012), AN ORDINANCE IDENTIFYING THE PLACE OF PUBLICATION AFTER THE FIRST AND SECOND READING OF AN ORDINANCE AND AMENDING CHAPTER 1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE. The Ordinance went into effect immediately upon its final passage at second reading on June 5, 2012. The full text of the Ordinance is available at the office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall.

T-Mobile USA proposes to install new wireless telecommunications antennas on an existing monopole in the vicinity of Reservoir Hill at Hot Springs Blvd., Pagosa Springs, CO. 6 antennas will be mounted on the pole at a centerline height of 110 feet above ground level. Support equipment will be installed within a new fenced lease area. a Major Design Review Development Application submitted by Wal-Mart for the development of a 91,828 square foot retail/grocery store proposed to be located in phase 4 of the Aspen Village Subdivision for lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 within Block 3, located at the intersection of Alpha Drive and Aspen Village Drive. Public comments related to the Design Review Development Application as it relates to the Town’s Land Use Development Code, will be heard at the public hearing. Written comments in advance of the public hearing, related to the Design Review Development Application as it relates to the Town’s Land Use Development Code, will be accepted until July 2, 2012 at the Town Planning Department. Request for Proposals – For Professional Auditing Services:

The Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners invite qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit Archuleta County’s financial statements for three fiscal years ending December 31, 2012; December 31, 2013; and December 31, 2014; with the option of extending for two additional fiscal years ending December 31, 2015 and 2016.

These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the General Accounting Office’s (GAO) Government Auditing Standards (1994), the provisions of the federal Single Audit Act of 1984 (as amended in 1996) and U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations.

Roof Replacement

Notice is hereby given that Archuleta County will accept sealed bids for replacing the roof of a 16 unit low-income senior living facility (known as Casa de Los Arcos).

THREE SETS (ONE ORIGINAL AND TWO COMPLETE COPIES OF THE SEALED BID), clearly marked with “Roof Replacement Bid,” along with the name, address and telephone number of the bidder, will be received by Larry Walton, Contracts and Procurement Officer, Archuleta County Courthouse, 449 San Juan St., P.O. Box 1507, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 (970) 264-5660, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012. As soon as practical after the bid closing time, all bids shall be opened in public and read aloud. Bids received after the closing time shall be returned unopened to the bidder. An Optional site walk-thru will be conducted on June 14, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. The location is 503 South 8th Street, Pagosa Springs. Bidders are encouraged to attend. There will be no additional site visits for this project.
