The Pagosa Springs Recreation Department is holding a softball managers’ meeting Wednesday, June 13 at 7 p.m. in Town Hall; all team managers are encouraged to attend.
Managers are reminded that team registration fees are $250, plus a $30 fee per player. Checks and money orders should be made payable to the Town of Pagosa Springs.
The leagues are tentatively scheduled to begin the week of June 18. Teams which have not paid the $250 team fee prior to the first game will not be permitted to play. For more information call 264-4151, Ext. 231 or 232.
The June session of youth tennis began this week at the Wyndham Resorts tennis complex; players ages 8-10 will meet Mondays and Thursdays 1-2 p.m.
In addition, players ages 11-12 will meet Mondays and Thursdays 2-3 p.m. through the end of the month, and players over the age of 12 will meet Wednesdays from 10-11 a.m.
Registrations for the July session are available at the recreation office and will be accepted through the end of the month. Registrations are also available through a link on the recreation department page at www.townofpagosasprings.com. Cost to participate is $30 per monthly session. Participants must have no marking-soled athletic or tennis shoes. The recreation department may have some racquets available, but participants are encouraged to purchase and use their own equipment. Youth baseball schedules are available at the recreation office and can also be downloaded through a link on the recreation department page at www.townofpagosasprings.com.
Games in the coach-pitch division began June 4; games in the 9-12 division will begin June 12. Uniforms will be dispersed prior to game time on each team’s opening night.

The recreation department is accepting donations for this year’s Fourth of July fireworks show.
Donations in any amount will be accepted; checks and money orders should be made payable to Town of Pagosa Springs.
