The Hands-On Arts Summer Camp runs three weeks in June, for students entering first grade next year, up to kids in sixth grade.
There is still room and time to register children for the camp. Detailed information is found on our website: www.hands-on-artscamp.com.
There are three different sessions that will be held Monday through Thursday, June 11-June 28, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Pagosa Springs High School art rooms. Tuition is $120 per week. This fee includes instruction and materials. Daily drop off rate is $35. Class limit is 20 students per week.
The first week of camp, students will learn about pinhole photography. They will make their own camera using oatmeal box and take pictures as well. Other projects include: molas, tie-dyed monster sock puppets, clay tortugas, and batiks.
Instructors are Lisa Brown, Tessie Garcia and Karen Siclair. They have taught in our community for a long time. The staff enjoys exploring the infinite possibilities of creating art and music and look forward to teaching your child.
