Born December 15, 1962, Colorado Springs, Colo. Greeted in Heaven on April 24, 2012, by his father, Ted J. Schmidt, grandmother, Mary V. Schmidt, papa, Kenneth W. Duke and other beloved souls. Left behind to cherish his memory: mother, Lucille Duke, sister, Kimberly Hazard, nephew, Matthew Beresky, niece, Tori Hazard, his sweet lab, Lola, and a host of family and friends from around the world who loved him deeply.
Jeffrey was an amazing healer, with a passion for helping others that transcended every language in the world. A brilliant and intuitive doctor, full of life and fearlessness. A profoundly spiritual man, loyal friend — deep to the core, with a quick wit — he had the gift to create the beautiful sound of laughter everywhere he went, explorer of the world, mountaineer, humanitarian and artist in so many ways.
He now plays his flute with the angels.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 11 a.m. — Bear Creek Nature Center, 245 Bear Creek Road, Colorado Springs, officiated by Rose Marie Studer, RScP.
