Contract Documents. Pre-Bid Conference. There will be no Pre-Bid Conference for this project.

Bid Conditions. The bidder is required to provide all information as required within the Contract Documents. The bidder is required to bid on all items of every schedule or as otherwise detailed in the Instructions to Bidders.

Bids may be held by Archuleta County for a period not to exceed 90 calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.

The right is reserved, as Archuleta County may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town of Pagosa Springs has received an application for a Major Subdivision Development Sketch Plan for approximately 74 acres and a Request for Disconnection (de-annexation) of 1.71 acres for the Mountain Crossing Development, located on the south east corner of the Hwy 160 and Hwy 84 intersection, 321 US Hwy 84, also known as, Lot 1-B and Lot 1-C of the Mountain Crossing Subdivision. Jackson Mountain ATV Trail Reconstruction

San Juan National Forest

The Pagosa Ranger District is preparing a Decision Memo and requesting comments for the Jackson Mountain ATV Trail Reconstruction Project . The project proposes to reconstruct two portions of the Jackson Mountain ATV trail, totaling 0.41 miles, to a more sustainable location to reduce erosion and sedimentation into an adjacent tributary of Snowball Creek. The proposed action description and other information regarding this action are available for review at the Pagosa Ranger District Office at 180 Pagosa Street in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Information can also be downloaded from the San Juan National Forest projects web site at: www.fs.usda.gov/goto/sanjuan/projects .

In light of a recent court ruling (Sequoia ForestKeeper v. Tidwell, 11-cv-00679-LJO-DLB (E.D. Cal.)), the Forest Service will provide public notice, comment, and opportunity for administrative appeal for projects and activities documented with a “Decision Memo” (36 CFR 220.6(e)) until new instructions are issued by the Washington Office, or the Agency issues regulations addressing the Court’s ruling. In addition, the Forest Service will prepare Decision Memos and offer notice, comment and appeal opportunities for timber sales and proposed approvals of oil or gas exploration and development activities that rely upon Section 390 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. Only those who provide comment or express interest in this proposal during this comment period will be eligible to appeal the decision pursuant to 36 CFR part 215 regulations.

How to Comment and Timeframe

Written, facsimile, hand-delivered, oral, and electronic comments concerning this action will be accepted for 30 calendar days following the publication of the Opportunity to Comment for this project in the Durango Herald.
