Come join the fun and Earth Day activities at Town Park all afternoon on Saturday, April 14.
The Southwest Organization for Sustainability (SOS) is facilitating this event in partnership with the Pagosa Chamber of Commerce and Pagosa Mountain Morning Rotary Club from noon to 6 p.m.
The gazebo will be at the center of the day’s festivities.
Local music will include the Pagosa Zimbabwe Marimba Ensemble, starting at noon.
Aikido of the San Juans will provide a demonstration in front of the gazebo around 12:40 p.m., then the Rakassah Jabal Belly Dance Troupe will be dancing starting at 1 p.m.
Other local music will include Reintento Norteño, the Josh Price Band, Pagosa High School’s Americana Project, a new band in Pagosa called Faculty X, Blue Grass Cadillac and Night Tribe, with Lisa Saunders. Then, a final music jam will take place from 5:20 p.m. until closing.
The park will be filled with local vendors, non-profits galore, E-Cycle collection, delicious food, beer and wine, smoothies, coffee and sweets.
