Community center to offer computer classes

Computer classes will start up again in April.

Beginning classes will be held on Wednesdays, starting April 18, and Intermediate will be held on Tuesdays, starting April 17.

If you already called to reserve a place in one of these classes, call Becky Herman again to confirm at 264-2171 or 903-0788. Her computer had a virus and she lost some information.

The beginning class will start with learning the basics: how to use a mouse and keybord, customizing your computer’s look, using e-mail and keeping safe on the Internet.

The intermediate class will offer a wide range of topics. Those attending the class will determine what will be discussed. Emphasis will be placed on determining each person’s best software choices, privacy and security (your’s and your computer’s), and what to look for when purchasing a new computer. Come to the first class with a list of what you would like to know more about.

For information regarding classes and availability, call Becky, 264-2171.
