Notice is hereby given that Archuleta County will accept sealed bids for gravel crushing at the above-referenced gravel site for 2012.
THREE SETS (ONE ORIGINAL AND TWO COMPLETE COPIES OF THE SEALED BID), clearly marked with “2012 Aggregate Supply Bid,” along with the name, address and telephone number of the bidder, will be received by Larry Walton, Contracts and Procurement Officer, Archuleta County Courthouse, 449 San Juan St., P.O. Box 1507, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 (970) 264-5660, until 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2012. As soon as practical after the bid closing time, all bids shall be opened in public and read aloud. Bids received after the closing time shall be returned unopened to the bidder.

Draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for Integrated Pest Management,
San Juan-Chama Project, CO and NM
The United States Bureau of Reclamation has prepared a draft Integrated Pest Management Plan and associated draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) for the proposed control and long-term management of invasive plants with manual, mechanical, and herbicidal methods on San Juan-Chama (SJC) Project lands and facilities held in title by the United States (Reclamation). The EA was prepared under the provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 (42 U.S.C. 4321 et. seq.) and the Council on Environmental Quality regulations (40 CFR 1500). Based on the analysis presented in the DEA, Reclamation has determined there will be no significant adverse impacts associated with the proposed project. Reclamation makes this preliminary “Finding of No Significant Impact” (FONSI) pursuant to the above referenced law and regulations. Reclamation has also determined the proposed action does not constitute a major federal action which would significantly affect the human environment. Therefore, no environmental impact statement will be prepared. Reclamation plans to finalize the DEA and FONSI on March 30, 2012.
