The Wolf Creek Race Team competed in Taos, N.M., on Feb. 11. The team has been training hard this year at Wolf Creek Ski Area.

The team had a successful outing at Taos, with a number of first-place winners. Taos had over 60 racers competing in this competition. The race consisted of two slalom runs, which were combined.

Wolf Creek racers who medaled in various divisions were: Molly Walker, two first places; Maya Novak, two second places; Braydon Higby, third and fourth places; Oliva Reinhart, third and fifth places; Heidi Walker, fourth and fifth places; Molly Burkesmith, two sixth places; Samaya Dunn, two first places; River Pitcher, fourth place; Mamie Hess, two first places; and Alyssa Collins, fourth place.

The race team is heading to Silverton next weekend for more races. The event will be another slalom race.
