The Pagosa Springs Town Council invites residents of the community to attend a public input work session, 5-6:30 p.m., today, Feb. 16, at the Ross Aragon Community Center in the Senior Dining Room.
The session will deal with Wal-Mart’s proposal to locate a 93,000 square-foot store in the Aspen Village Commercial Development, on the west side of Pagosa Springs.
This work session will give residents an opportunity to provide comments regarding the proposed store.
If you would like to present comments, please plan on delivering concise remarks regarding your position, so that others might have the same time and opportunity to present their views.
Town Council will provide up to 45 minutes for opposition comments and up to 45 minutes for proponent comments.
A Wal-Mart representative might also be in attendance at the session.
Additionally, comment cards will be made available. The cards can be filled out and dropped off at the meeting. All comments received will then be forwarded to the Town Council.
Town officials urge county residents who have concerns or comments to attend today’s work session. Your input is valued.
