There will be live music from members of The Americana Project along with a DJ spinning hits. A magician will also be on hand to show you a few tricks.
There will be plenty of fabulous food, and desserts to die for. A cash bar will feature amazing Hurricanes and ice cream topped with liqueur.
The highlight of the evening will be games of chance including blackjack, poker, Texas Hold ’em and craps.
Bid on a variety of silent auction items donated in support of this huge community fund-raising event. You can peruse the selection of dining opportunities, self-indulgent spa services, stays at romantic lodging locations and other items that are being added every day. There will be a live auction for a Navajo Lake dinner cruise, Broncos tickets, a Creede get-away, Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass three-day passes and more.
You could not ask for a more special Valentine’s event.
You can be a part of the most important fund-raising event of the year for the many worthwhile and important contributions that Rotary makes to this community.
The major beneficiary from this fund-raiser every year is the Rotary Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to college-bound Pagosa Springs High School graduates. To date, over $283,000 has been awarded to 121 scholarship recipients.
Rotary also provides support to a number of other important community programs including the Pagosa Outreach Connection, teacher mini-grants, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics, Pagosa Outreach Connection, 9Health Fair and the Rotary Feeds Our Children program.
Tickets are $45 per person and they are available from Rotarians, at The Sun office, and Exit Realty at 2383 Eagle Drive, or by calling Shellie Peterson at 264-2014. Tickets will also be available at the door.
The date is Feb. 11, the time is from 6 to 10 p.m., the location is the Pagosa Lakes Clubhouse at 230 Port Ave.
