Crow Canyon Archaeological Center and the Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce will host a public forum on the Cultural and Economic Values of Chimney Rock as a National Monument.
Colorado U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton will deliver the keynote address. Tipton, along with his counterparts in the Senate, are trying to move a bill forward to complete this designation for Chimney Rock. You can find out more about this designation and the bill efforts at this event.
The forum will be held on Monday, Jan. 16, at 9 a.m. at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts at 2313 Eagle Drive. An R.S.V.P. is requested, since a light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
