Festival of Trees raises $11,749 for nonprofits

The sixth annual Festival of Trees was a big success.

The event raised $11,749 for local nonprofit organizations.

With help from a lot of community members and businesses, we helped the nonprofit organizations and donated trees to four needy families.

The people came out in large numbers to support the event and it was a great holiday celebration. The Americana Project students kept the audience entertained, and the food donated from various local restaurants kept them full.

We can’t wait until next year, and you won’t want to miss the amazing and creative ideas we have already planned. So, mark your calendars for Nov. 30, 2012, and make sure you don’t miss the seventh annual Festival of Trees. What is up and coming is sure to make you smile with holiday cheer.
