The public is welcome to join in the festivities during the annual SHY RABBIT Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.
This is the perfect opportunity to tour the 4,000 square-foot contemporary art center at your leisure, taking in all that SHY RABBIT has to offer, while enjoying the company of friends and neighbors.
This unique art complex is located, quite unexpectedly, in a wooded commercial district of Pagosa Springs, on the west end of town, in a fully renovated auto-repair shop.
SHY RABBIT houses a fine art gallery and working ceramic studio, two mixed-media workshops and rotating exhibition spaces.
Visitors will be treated to a display of select works by SHY RABBIT’s highly regarded gallery artists, many of who are nationally recognized and respected art educators.
Featured works will include a wide range of skillfully crafted functional and sculptural ceramics, unique hand-pressed and limited edition prints, mixed media artworks and more.
This eclectic holiday group show continues through Sunday, Jan. 22, featuring works by Sandy Applegate, Michael D. Barnes, Debra Blair, Marti Bledsoe, D. Michael Coffee, Denise Coffee, Patrick Shia Crabb, Lal Echterhoff, Charla Ellis, Ruth Fiege, Ron Fundingsland, Gail Hershey, Karl Isberg, Maureen May, Jeff Pender and Brad Schwieger.
SHY RABBIT Contemporary Arts; Gallery, Studio and Workshops is located at 333 Bastille Drive; two blocks north of U.S. 160, off of North Pagosa Blvd., west of the City Market complex.
