Joseph Odhiambo and former NBA star Bay Forrest, in conjunction with FOCUS ministries, will visit Grace Church this Sunday, Oct. 30, and present a dazzling array of basketball handling skills during our Worship Service at 10 a.m. at the Ross Aragon Community Center.
Joseph originally hails from Nairobi, and now resides in Phoenix, Ariz. In addition to his much celebrated Guinness World Record ball handling skills, Joseph is also a highly sought after motivational speaker.
In developing his rigorous training program, Joseph Odhiambo practiced four to six hours a day, eventually building his ball-handling skills to the level of performing over 500 tricks using up to 24 basketballs at one time.
Since then Joseph has gone on to set or break 14 world basketball handling records. He currently holds the Guinness Records for dribbling six basketballs simultaneously, spinning one basketball the longest using both hands, dribbling one basketball the longest, juggling three basketballs while shooting the most layups, and spinning a basketball using one hand only! Odhiambo has also performed with the Harlem Globetrotters and has become a fixture at the NBA All-Star Jam Sessions.
Bay Forrest, former center for the Phoenix Suns and director of FOCUS ministries, will introduce Joseph and co-present this action-packed service.
Please join us for an exciting morning at Grace; this will be a great time of fun and focus on what God has done in the lives of Joseph Odhiambo and Bay Forrest through basketball and their ministries and what God wants to do in yours.
