Pagosa Springs Fun Day Rodeo results

The Pagosa Springs Fun Day Rodeo Series came to a close with an awards potluck dinner on Sept. 25.

Many thanks go out to Goodman’s Department Store, Boot Hill, Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park and Jack and Claudia Rosenbaum for their support over the years. Congratulations go out to our winners in each age group.

In the 5 and under age group, Colt Lewis won the buckle, placing first, followed by Rance Rathjen in second, Quincy Montoya in third, Karsyn Shahan in fourth, Braxton Register in fifth and Troy Brown in sixth place. In the leadline category, we had Brennyn Bramwell, Jordynn Lott, Diezel Sanchez, Eli Castro and Tucker Jacobson.

In the 6-8 age group, Zoe Rathjen won the buckle, placing first, followed by Brayden Bramwell in second, Nathan Stahr in third, Rhiley Montoya in fourth, Trevor Torrez in fifth, Lorah Jacobson in sixth, Kason Shahan in seventh, Kallie Kimball in eighth, Ciera Brown in ninth, and Macey Jacobson in 10th place.

In the 9-11 age group, Brooklyn Weaver won the buckle, taking first, followed by DeAnn Schaaf in second, Caitlynn Weaver in third, McKenna DeYapp in fourth, Karrington Castro in fifth, Bailey Stahr in sixth, Trinity Perea in seventh, a tie between Trae Brown and Danielle Perea for eighth, a tie for ninth between Kacey Chandler and Kaya Sharp, Danaisha Sanchez in 10th, Ashlynn Swayze in 11th, and Makeely Garcia in 12th place.

In the 12-14 age group, Lane Schaff won the buckle, taking first place, followed by Shaylah Lucero in second, Morgan Schaaf in third, Katrina Chandler in fourth, Dalton Lucero in fifth, Payton Shahan in sixth and Matty Garcia in seventh.

In the 15-18 age group, Alexandra Herrera placed first, winning the buckle, followed by Cheyan Rice in second, Kaylee Fitzwater in third, Kelsi Lucero in fourth and Kim Hunsicker in fifth place.

In the adult age group, Lori Lucero won the buckle, followed by Sarah Wood in second and Twine Regester in third.
