Final hunter education course Nov. 3-4

Hunter education classes will be offered in Pagosa Springs on Nov. 3 and 4.

Sessions will take place 5:30-10 p.m. on Thursday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday. Students must attend each session.

Classes will be held at the Colorado Mounted Ranger Building, 302 San Juan St., in downtown Pagosa Springs.

Cost is $20 per student.

This course is open to anyone wishing to obtain a hunter safety card. This will be the last class taught in Pagosa in 2011.

If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1949, you are required to have a hunter safety card before you can purchase a hunting license.

All programs, services and activities of the Colorado Division of Wildlife are operated in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The course is sponsored by the Pagosa Springs Police Department in conjunction with the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
