Lyon party to benefit Pagosa Animal Advocates

Please join us for Madeline Lyon’s Seventy & Sassy birthday celebration!

Open to the public at Wild Spirit Gallery, Madeline plans to celebrate in style, while helping Pagosa animals in need.

Birthday party guests will be treated to wonderful hors d’oeuvres, festive beverages and sinful desserts while being entertained by local favorite, Bob Hemenger.

Party guests pay only $7, which Madeline will donate to Pagosa Animal Advocates (PAA). And, in lieu of gifts, Madeline asks guests and the community to donate to PAA.

“My goal is to raise $700 for PAA. Coming to my party and making a donation to PAA will help me reach that goal. I couldn’t ask for a better birthday present!”

The party will be held Sunday, Oct. 23, 5-8 pm, Wild Spirit Gallery

Please R.S.V.P. for the party by Friday, Oct. 21, to paulajomiller@gmail.com. You can pay and make your donations at the door or online at www.pagosaanimaladvocates.org.

Donations for this party will go directly to PAA’s Second Chances Program. This unique program rescues, fosters and finds homes for special needs and elderly pets that have been abused or abandoned due to owner death or illness.

Currently PAA has eight animals in its care. Because PAA is an all-volunteer organization, nearly 100 percent of donations received pay for their medical care, feeding and sheltering. PAA desperately needs financial assistance and foster homes for these eight animals.

If you would like to create a foster home, call PAA at 903-2300. And please make a donation at www.pagosaaniamladvocates.org. Every amount is an enormous help and will give these animals the second chance they deserve.
