The annual free Vacation Bible School at the Pagosa Springs Church of Christ located at 277 Lewis St. begins next Monday, July 25, from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
VBS runs through Friday July 29 for children 2 years old through the eighth grade.
The theme for VBS is “Growing With The Savior.”
Bible stories from the life of Jesus will come to life with acting, puppets, games, quizzes, songs and crafts. Each child is actively engaged and encouraged as they learn great lessons through the week. Refreshments are served daily.
On Wednesday evening the children put on a program demonstrating the things they have learned in VBS. At the end of the program there will also be an opportunity to visit the children’s class rooms and meet their teachers. Vacation Bible School concludes on Friday with a hot dog picnic at the park on 8th Street. Parents, family, and friends are invited to those activities as well as encouraged to visit the daily classes at any time.
Transportation to VBS is provided in busses and vans. For the stop nearest you and time of pick up in your area, or for more information, call the church office at 264-2552, or Dorman Diller, minister, at 264-4454.
This year also marks the 25th year the Woodward group has been coming to Pagosa Springs to help put on VBS. Everyone who has been part of VBS, both young and old, are invited to join us for Bible Study, 9:30 a.m., and worship, 10:30 a.m., and a dinner at the building following worship on Sunday, July 25th before VBS begins. You may also stop by during the week at VBS or attend one of the many activities to say hello to old friends.
We would be delighted for your children to attend the free Vacation Bible School. Enrollment forms may be found in the paper or posted around town. Call the office now and sign up your children so they can attend this exciting time of learning and growing.
